A few years ago, Mike, Ryan, and I embarked on an unforgettable journey to Sedona, a place that’s as magical as it is unique. I fell in love with the stunning red rocks, serene desert landscapes, and, surprisingly, the lushness of trees scattered throughout the area. Sedona’s beauty left a lasting impression and I was inspired to paint to capture its essence.
Beyond its beauty, Sedona is filled with adventure. We hiked some of the famed vortex trails, soaking in their energy and breathtaking views. One of the highlights of our trip was taking our truck camper up Schnebly Hill Road, an experience as thrilling as it was scenic. Along the way, we even had the chance to help someone stranded with a broken-down vehicle, a reminder of the camaraderie and kindness that travel often brings.
Nestled into the red rocks, the Chapel of the Holy Cross is an awe-inspiring masterpiece that seamlessly blends architecture and nature.

Here we are at the top of Schnebly Hill Road, one of the most scenic and rugged drives in Sedona. The steep, bumpy journey in our truck camper was an adventure in itself, but the reward was this breathtaking view of the iconic red rock formations stretching out across the horizon. It was one of those moments where we truly felt connected to the natural beauty around us, taking a pause to soak in the quiet and majesty of the desert. This spot remains one of my favorite memories from our trip—a perfect blend of adventure, challenge, and awe-inspiring scenery.
